These terms apply when you order from announceit.com. By placing an order you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to hello@announceit.com before you order.
Who we are
AnnounceIt is a family-run stationery shop based in New Braunfels, Texas. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and the charge on your card statement appears as ANNOUNCEIT.
Your order
- Prices are shown per card in US dollars. The total, including shipping, is shown before you pay.
- Every order is typeset by hand from the details you enter. We send a digital proof and print only after you approve it in writing (a reply to the proof email counts).
- You are responsible for checking the proof. Cards are printed exactly as approved, including spelling, names, and dates.
- Paper, finish, and foil availability are as shown on the product page. Foil designs are not available on Linen paper.
- Minimum order is 25 cards. Orders ship within the 48 contiguous United States; email us first for Alaska, Hawaii, or a US territory.
Changes, cancellations, refunds
You may change or cancel for a full refund at any time before you approve the proof. After approval, the order goes to print and usually cannot be stopped. Reprints for print defects or shipping damage are free; reprints for errors that were on the approved proof are a new discounted order. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Your content
You confirm that the names, dates, wording, and any photos you give us are yours to use and do not infringe anyone else's rights. We use them only to produce your order and your proof.
Our designs
Card designs on this site are original AnnounceIt artwork. Buying cards gives you the printed cards; it does not transfer the design, and the artwork may not be reproduced or resold.
Colors and previews
On-screen previews, including paper texture and foil, are approximations. Printed colors and foil can differ slightly from a screen, and the foil press can shift by a hair. Your proof is the reference for wording and layout, not an exact color match.
Limits
If something goes wrong with an order, our responsibility is to reprint it or refund it, as described above. We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed events. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable law.
Taxes
Prices do not include sales tax. Where we are required to collect it, it is shown at checkout and included in the total you pay.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. We may update them; the date at the top tells you when. The version in force when you order applies to that order.
