Shipping & Returns
Every card is typeset to order, so the process has a few steps. Here is exactly what happens after you pay, and what we do when something goes wrong.
1. Your proof comes first
Within about two business days of your order, we email you a digital proof of your card. Nothing prints until you reply with your approval. Changes at the proof stage are free. Please check every name, date, and spelling on the proof carefully: cards are printed exactly as approved.
2. Printing and shipping
Once you approve, your cards go to our print partner, who typically prints within one to two business days (foil designs can take an extra day, and the holidays run longer). They ship directly to the address you gave at checkout, with standard white envelopes included. We email you a tracking number once your cards ship.
- Standard shipping: $4.99 per order, within the 48 contiguous United States.
- Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories: email us before ordering so we can quote shipping.
- Transit time depends on the carrier and your location. We do not promise a delivery date, and we recommend ordering at least three weeks before you need the cards in hand, and four in December.
3. Changes and cancellations
Before you approve the proof, you can change or cancel your order at any time for a full refund. Just reply to your confirmation email or write to hello@announceit.com. Once a proof is approved and sent to print, the order usually cannot be stopped.
4. If something is wrong
- Damaged or misprinted cards: email us a photo within 14 days of delivery and we will reprint them at no cost to you.
- A typo that was on the approved proof: because cards are printed exactly as approved, a reprint is a new paid order. We will do it at a discount, so write to us before reordering.
- Lost in transit: contact us with your order reference and we will work with the carrier and our print partner to make it right.
Because every card is personalized, we cannot accept returns of correctly printed orders.
5. Refunds
Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually appear on your statement within five to ten days.
