Privacy Policy

What we collect, and why

• Your card details (names, dates, wording, and any photos you provide): to typeset your card and send your proof.
• Your name, email, phone (optional), and shipping address: to confirm your order, send your proof and tracking, and ship your cards.
• Payment: handled entirely by Stripe on their secure checkout page. We never see or store your card number.
• Your cart: saved in your own browser only (local storage), so it is still there if you come back. It never leaves your device until you check out.

Where it lives

• Stripe holds the payment record and the order details you entered at checkout.
• Our order inbox receives one email per order with your details so a person can typeset and place it. Our email is sent through Resend.
• Our print partner receives your name and shipping address so they can print and ship directly to you. They do not receive your email or payment details.
• Vercel hosts this website. Standard server logs may record your IP address and the pages you visit, as with any website.

What we don't do

• No advertising pixels, no analytics trackers, no third-party cookies.
• No selling or sharing of your information for marketing.
• No marketing emails. The only emails you get from us are about your order.

How long we keep it

Order records stay in Stripe and our order inbox as long as we need them for reprints, refunds, and our own bookkeeping. If you want your details deleted after your order is complete, write to us and we will remove them from our inbox and ask our print partner to do the same. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.

Your choices

Email hello@announceit.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We reply within one business day.

Children

Our cards often announce a child, but our customers are adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
